August Top 5

August Favorites

Bye bye August and welcome my top 5 beauty products! I have some affordable products on my list this month; majority drugstore and just one high end product. Let's jump right into it.

Elf  Studio Contouring Brush
ELF Contouring Brush
I've been wanting this brush for quite a while, but every time I tried to order it the brush was out of stock on the ELF website. So finally, I received an email from ELF saying that the Contouring Brush was back and stock so I ordered it instantly. Needless to say, I can totally tell why it was out of stock; its amazing! For the price (6 USD) the quality is fantastic; it is soft and definitely fits perfectly in the hollows of your cheek to get the job done.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder
Laura Mercier Translucent PowderMany beauty bloggers have ranted and raved about this product and I was pretty anxious to try it out for myself. I waited until my coveted Ben Nye Translucent powder was empty (which I just recently re-ordered) and decided to buy this powder. To my surprise, I love this just as much as my Ben Nye powder. I have very oily skin and this manages to keep me matte all day.

NYX Liquid Suede – Sandstorm
NYX SandstormI've talked about this product and provided swatches, but the color Sandstorm has been my go to for an everyday makeup look. It's fairly hard for me to find the perfect nude for my skin tone and I am extremely picky. This is perfect for me and I love that the formula allows for the product to last all day.

Salon Perfect Glam Lashes – 614
Salon Perfect 614 LashesYou may remember me mentioning these in my Face of the Day post "You're a Stone Fox". I switch between the Salon Perfect and my Ardell Demi Wispies when I want natural looking lashes. These are actually cheaper and easier to find so I've been reaching for them a lot this month when I'm in the mood to add a little umph to my eyes. These are unfortunately only sold in the U.S. at Walmart stores. *Unfortunately for my loves who don't live in the U.S. these are only sold in Walmart stores. I've searched high and low to find a website that sells these internationally ,but if I do find a link, I will update this post :)

Spring Valley 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree OilI can not stress to you how much this product has been a LIFE SAVER!! I have been breaking out like crazy recently (adult acne is the absolute worse) and this has done wonders by keeping my acne to a minimum. I can put this on at night, and a few days later the pesky pimple is gone! Look out for a full blown review soon so that I can go into more detail on how its helped me and how to use it.

Well, that's it for this month. Can't wait to see what I fall in love with in September. Are any of the items mentioned here, one of your favorites? I'm looking for some new products to try so,  let me know down below.

Love,
